Using Committy
Committy records agreed group fines and activities and is operated by Committy Ltd. Committy Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Company number: 17480562. Incorporated on 25 September 2026. Registered office: Green Barn, North Lynn Farm, Estuary Road, Kings Lynn, PE30 2HL. Contact: support@committy.co.uk. It is not a court, debt-collection service or bank. An app entry does not by itself establish an enforceable debt. The current service is a private beta without live payments. Public-launch contractual terms will take effect only when the agreement is confirmed; viewing this page does not record contractual acceptance.
Your account
Use accurate details and protect your sign-in information. Do not impersonate another person, claim official club authority you do not have, or access another group’s records. Tell support if you suspect unauthorised access. An invitation or club listing does not itself give access to private team information.
Group rules and responsibilities
The chair and committee should explain fines, amounts, deadlines, contest options and visibility. Members participate under the group’s settings; committee publishing depends on the chair’s permissions. Apply rules fairly. Do not use the app to coerce, discriminate, harass or humiliate anyone. Group rules do not override legal rights or safeguarding responsibilities.
Content and conduct
Only upload material you have permission to share. You retain rights in your content; it is stored and displayed to provide the features you use. Do not upload unlawful content, falsify financial records or include unnecessary sensitive information. Report misuse to support@committy.co.uk.
Fines, hearings and optional activities
Check your group’s rules before paying or contesting. Voting eligibility, time limits, penalties and tie-breakers follow group settings. Optional activities are not required to use the core service. A hearing option does not provide built-in video calling. Raise a factual disagreement with the committee and a technical or conduct concern with support.
Charges and payment records
No live card payments are currently available. Planned charges are explained under Payments & fees; any actual price must be shown before payment. Free use does not authorise a future subscription. Historic manual entries and screenshots are not bank verification. Cancelling an entry is not a card refund.
Access, changes and closure
Service access may be interrupted by maintenance or faults. Where restrictions are needed for misuse or security, contact support to ask for an explanation or review. You can leave a group or request account deletion. Handover and unresolved disputes are handled separately from your privacy rights. Material changes to the service and any future agreement will be explained before they take effect where practicable.
Complaints and your rights
Email support@committy.co.uk with a short explanation and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and explain the next steps. Nothing on this page asks you to waive statutory rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
